Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu organises PRAKRAM DIWAS on the eve of 125th Birth Anniversary of Neta ji Subash Chander Bose

Today Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu celebrated the 125th Birth Anniversary of Subash Chander Bose as PRAKRAM DIWAS at his office premises.On this occasion, Sh.Bikram Singh Gill (State Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan J&K and Ladakh UT) was the Chief Guest in the Program.

 

 

They threw light on the life history of Neta ji and highlighted the Contribution of Subash Chander Bose in Indian Freedom Struggle.They said that In order to honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation, the Government of India has decided to celebrate his birthday on January 23 every year as ‘Parakram Diwas’ to inspire people of the country, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity as Netaji did and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervour.
The others who present on this occasion were Nissar Ahmed Butt (District Youth OFFICER,NYK Jammu), Tejaswar Singh ASO State Office NYKS, Tilak Raj Sharma (Sr.Lecturer & President Mallah Youth Club), Gurneet Singh (Act.NYK Jammu), National Youth Volunteers and Youth Club Members were also present in this occasion. In the end, Nissar Ahmed Butt (District Youth Officer Jammu) and Bimlesh Kumari (APA State Office) gave vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and all the participants. Addition to this Nehru Yuva Kendra,Jammu also organises various events like Essay Competition , Quiz Competition , Painting Competition , Cultural Programs, Declamation Contest, Padh Yatra ,Theme based Programs , Cyclathon and many other events in different blocks of Jammu and Samba district through its Affiliated Youth Clubs, Mahila Mandals and National Youth Volunteers.
