A young motorcyclist along with teen-aged pillion rider died when their bike was hit by an unidentified truck near Manwal, here. The deceased have been identified as Parshotam Singh (30), son of Charan Dass resident of village Ranga in Ramnagar and Vipan Sharma (19), son of Ram Musti, resident of village Udhak in Ramnagar. While Parshotam Singh reportedly died on the spot, the pillion rider Vipan Sharma succumbed to his injuries on way to GMC Hospital Jammu. The accident took place around 3.30 PM. Police shifted the victims to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Parshotam Singh as brought dead and referred Vipan Sharma to GMC Hospital Jammu where he was too declared as brought dead. Meanwhile Manwal Police has registered the case and started investigation.
