National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah today expressed deep grief over the passing away of senior Congress leader and former Member Parliament Mr Madan Lal Sharma.
In their condolences messages, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr Omar Abdullah recalled the contribution of Mr Sharma towards welfare of the people in different capacities.
They conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. They also prayed for strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana and senior leaders also expressed grief and shock over the demise of Mr Madan Lal Sharma and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Mr Rana expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
