Charak calls on CEO Puramandal–Uttar Bahani, demands development of historical places

 

Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Good Governance & Centre State Coordination Department In-charge Kunwar Rajeev Charak called on CEO of Surisar-Mansar- Puramandal – Uttar Bahani Development Authority S. Gurwinder Singh.

After discussing the upliftment and development of Puramandal-Utter Behnii, Charak told him that Puramandal-Uttar Bahani is a famous religious and historical place. There is a need to renovate it.

Charak said that in the earlier times, the journey of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Baba Amarnathji or other journeys which came from other states to Jammu and Kashmir, they used to stay in the Parmandal because it was the only place in Jammu where travelers here Sarai was built by other fraternities to stay in the place.

It is said that in the past, there was an inn of 64 fraternities but now their condition has remained pathetic. The main road was the cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and Baba Amarnathji All the kings who were pre-independence to go to this place, they stressed for the development of this place, built a reservoir for the travelers to build an inn, but with time the roads were spread and this area was ignored by the governments after 1947.

He said that all the tourists who come to Jammu division are all tourists religious tourists, so it is necessary that all such historical religious places in Jammu division should be renovated so that Jammu can be developed as a religious tourist place because Jammu has temples. It is also said that in such a situation, there is a need to develop and promote such places as religious tourist places, so that local development as well as local unemployed young people are self-employed under “Invitation dependent India”. He said that the Puramandal has been the center of learning of Hindu culture and spiritual education in the North East so it is important that this place should be developed again in the same way in which the library, religious library, school of religious education, Bagaira should be developed so that the new generation of Hindu Knowledge of religious texts, Vedas and Upanishads was available.
