Appeal to administration for removal of Discriminatory attitude towards Teachers/ Masters of UT of J&K

In an urgent virtual meeting of Jammu Kashmir All Teachers Association J & K held today on 31st of August 2020 under the chairmanship of UT President Mrignayani Slathia , along with the legendary dignitaries including UT General Secretary Dewan Singh, APEX members Senior Vice PresidentsUTof J &K, Upasana,Younis Sadique Naiaz Ahmed. Trishla Kumari, Raman Sharma,Ashok Kumar. Provincial President and organising Secretary Dr. Jagdish Sharma , UT coordinator Vijay, Ashok Kumar,Ritu, Nasreen bano, Sunil Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Joint Secretaries Tarsem lal Ravinder Kumar KiranSlathia,Varinder Kumar,Meenu Sharma, Monica ,Rattan lal,Hoshiar Singh and all District Presidents as well as Zonal Heads, a burning issue of Repatriation order of CEO Ramban was condemned in a single voice on the pretext that RETs are appointed time to time vide G. O. NO. 396_ Edu of 2000 dated 28-04-2000.As per the term and conditions of the said order RETs after the completion of 5years of service as RETs were entitled to be appointed as General Line Teachers in Education Department and constitute one class, they have to be treated equally in all matters of governing their jobs. There is only cadre after five years appointment as Rehabars ie General line Teacher under the Recruitment Rules. No discrimination of any sort has been drawn between the teachers appointed as GLTs after completion of 5years of service as Rehbars in all the departments of UT in J &K. For all practical purposes these Rehbars belong to same class and category. But unfortunately the benefit of transfer policy are being illegally denied to such GLTs. The said action on the part of Functionaries of UTof J &K seems to be arbitrary and is the utter violation of Article 14 as well as Article 21 of the Constitution of ???? India. Regarding IMPACT training association welcomes such trainings because a teacher is always a student first and he/ she has an urge to learn more to impart knowledge to his/ her students. But the discriminatory attitude is again criticized by the teaching community in a single voice that if these IMPACT training would be on the basis of students ie Primary/ Middle/ High rather on the basis of tag on the teachers G2/G3. then the motive behind the training must proves more fruitful. The teachers are the backbone of the nation. Entire future of a nation rests
in the hands of teachers .A disturbed mind cannot nurture the future of nation
efficiently. The UT Administration by its discriminatory attitude has disturbed
the life and minds of the Teachers . Madam Slathia, on behalf of the teaching community appealed authorities in general and worthy Principal Secretary in particular to intervene in these serious issues as he is the only hope for teaching community which is compelled to leave in the darkness of the tunnel for the last six years,Save the teaching community from further humiliation and harassment by removing the various tags of Surplus from teachers/ Masters.
