Effort of every individual will make J&K Clean and Green : Sat

 Fulfilling long pending demand of inhabitants of Krishna Nagar, Ward 12, Former President BJP J&K Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of lane at Amb Wali Gali. Sharma was also accompanied by Deputy Mayor JMC Purnima Sharma, Chairman SJC and Corporator Jeet Angral, Former District President Ayodhya Gupta, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, local residents and political activists of the area.

The works will be done under the supervision of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) at an estimated cost of Rupees 11.40 lakhs with paver tiles. The funds were allotted to the Corporator through JMC.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the ward which was left behind in terms of development before 2014 is now amongst the cleanest and developed wards of Jammu city. He said it is the same area where during heavy rains, flood type situation aroused every time and water from deep drains always entered the house of locals which further caused damage to their properties including their electronics and caused chaos type situation for locals and now the area has a proper system of deep drains and it has been 3 years now that the area and locals have not witnessed the previous problems which is a major achievement concerning development in the ward and it all happened during his tenure as MLA, he stated. He also stressed on promoting “Swach Bharat” and stated that the effort of every individual will make Jammu and Kashmir clean and green and we all must contribute towards it to fulfill the vision of PM Narendra Modi.

Purnima stated that due to the efforts of Former MLA, modern infra has been provided to all wards in Jammu West and the pace of development will continue under his able leadership in Jammu West Assembly segment.

Jeet Angral said that during the tenure of Former MLA, the ward was equipped with all type of modern infra and over all development pertaining to installation of new transformers, construction of lanes and bylanes, sanitation system, water supply and other things have improved and public is also satisfied with the performance of BJP in the ward. He also stated that more works will also be taken up in coming times in order to avoid public distress.
