Sat dedicates newly constructed lane and drain to residents of Anand Vihar

Former State President BJP and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drain at Lane number 2, Anand Vihar area of Ward 41. Sharma was also accompanied by Corporator Sanjay Baru, Mandal President Keshav Chopra and others including local residents and political activists of the area. Pertinent to mention, the works for construction of lane was a long pending demand as the area was dug out after installation of new water pipes and keeping in view the sentiments of the masses, Former MLA sanctioned an amount of Rupees 8.50 lakhs from his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme during his tenure and the funds were allotted for taking up both works in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that in the last five years, the progress of Jammu West has reached heights and in future the main stress will be placed on those areas and works which are pending from so much time. He said that the lane in Anand Vihar was damaged due to installation of water pipes as there was dire need of providing fresh water supply in the area so the works was done by PHE department and after the installation of pipes the public demanded for construction of lane, so keeping in view the interests of the masses, the funds were sanctioned but due to administrative reasons the process got delayed and now the works have been done so that best possible infra could be provided to the masses at their doorsteps. He also stated that remaining and pending works concerning all departments in all 26 wards of the Constituency will also be done as soon as possible.

Sanjay Baru hailed the pro active approach of Former MLA and stated  that during his tenure as MLA, a deputation led by him (Corporator) met the Former Minister to which the leader instantly assigned the funds for the same and people also thanked him for solving their grievances from time to time.

District Vice President Jaideep Sambyal, District Secretary Brijesh Gupta, Mandal General Secretary Vinod Wazir, Ward President Ashok Wazir, Jatin Sethi, Rakesh Sharma, Bubesh Thappa, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Kewal Sharma, Anil Sharma, Karni Manhas, Atul Sharma, Harvinder Kumar, Kapil Chandan and others were present.
