Modi govt. is sensitive to people’s needs and worked vigorously in the past 1 year for people’s welfare, said Dharmendra Pradhan, Cabinet Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel in the Government of India.
Dharmendra Pradhan was addressing the masses and BJP activists of Jammu & Kashmir on the occasion of completion of eventful 1 year of Modi 2.0. He accompanied by Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh addressed the Digital “Virtual Rally” from the BJP National Headquarter, New Delhi.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, accompanied by BJP Vice-Presidents Dr. Narinder Singh, Sham Lal Sharma (Former Minister), Shakti Singh Parihar (MLA Doda & Former Minister), Pawan Khajuria, Yudhvir Sethi, Anuradha Singh Charak & Aseem Gupta and BJP General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (MLA Samba & Former Minister) formed the part of the panel on the stage of rally at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, along with the senior leaders from BJP Kashmir participated in the rally at Srinagar.
Dharmendra Pradhan, while addressing the rally, paid his tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and stated that he (Dr. Mukherjee) sacrificed his life while correcting the misconducts prevailing in the Nation. He said that legacy of Dr. Mukherjee to serve the motherland is being carried forward by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government which has raised the status of Nation in the world. He said that earlier governments used to misuse the entire administrative machinery for their own dubious motives, assuming Nation as their paternal property. They didn’t care for the people and same thing happened in J&K as the erstwhile state was looted by 3 families.
Pradhan said that Modi govt. believes in giving account of every single second and every single penny to the masses and that’s why we present our report card to the public after every while. He said that Modi govt. is dedicated to masses and its biggest attribute is sensitiveness to the needs of people.
Pradhan said that being himself from a humble background, Modi ji has taken every step directed to the welfare of the needy population, be it focus on Shochalaya Nirmaan, Swachta Abhiyaan, opening of Jan Dhan accounts, Ujjawala Yojna etc. He asked that why all these reforms were not carried out by previous governments at the Centre.
“Why the Yuvraj (Rahul Gandhi) do not have faith on Indian military power, why they doubt our armed forces? They just donated away significant lands of mother India including Aksai Chin but know they Nation is in safer hands”, Pradhan rued.
Today, nobody can dare to dominate India, Pradhan said and added that India is raised to one amongst the superpowers of the world which has liberally helped other Nations during Corona Pandemic. He said that many developed and strong Nations of the world have fallen short in front of Corona infection, but we restricted it in very initial stages itself with the strong decision taken by our worthy Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Lockdown saved many Lakh precious lives, which got appraisal from all over the world including WHO. He said that previously we focused on saving lives while imposing lockdown and now we are focusing on livelihood as well.
Pradhan talked of Article 370, CAA was approved to help those in need, banning Triple Talaq for women welfare, economic reforms and many more such decisions. He said that Modi govt. saved money through various channels to use it on public welfare schemes.
In the end of his address, an oath was taken to use and promote Swadeshi products.
Ravinder Raina remembered and paid rich tributes to the great ideologue Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and said that while Nation observes this day as the Martyr day in the memory of great man. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, an ardent nationalist and great revolutionary, sacrificed his life for the unity and integrity of Mother India, Dr. Mukherjee was a valiant son of Bharat Mata who fought fiercely against two Vidhans, two heads and two marks and sacrificed his life, he said.
He said that a terrible conspiracy was being hatched with in the Nation directed to hit the integrity of Nation. In independent India, 2 symbols, 2 laws and 2 heads were being nurtured right under the nose of then government. He said that JanaSangh fought the fight for unifying the whole Nation and many precious lives were sacrificed over the decades. He also remembered the contributions of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra ji, Th. Baldev Singh ji and others in Jammu and Atal ji, Lal Krishan Advani ji and many more on the National platform. He said that with the unparallel valour and teachings of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee we have succeeded in abrogating Article 370 under the strong leadership of Modi ji and thus a real tribute has been paid to the great man.
Raina, added that we all have to take an oath that we will not take rest until and unless we will take back all the portion of our lands from every expansionist while stating that the land till Mansarovar belongs to India. He also gave his respect to the martyrs of Galvan valley and said that our jawaans gave befitting reply to the treachery by china.
Dr. Jatinder Singh in his address gave details of various development works that have been taken on top priority within the J&K. he said that the Modi government has kept its focus on the development policies and welfare schemes while keeping out vote bank politics. He said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee upon his arrest while entering J&K, told Atal ji to go back and tell the whole world that he (Dr. Mookherjee) has entered the J&K without permit. He said today, that he (Dr. Mokherjee) would have been telling us to go and tell the world that Modi has abrogated the Article 370.
Dr. Singh enumerated various development projects particlulary in Udhampur-doda Parliamentary Express Road Corridor, 3 Medical colleges, Namami Ganga project for beautification of Devika, 12st biotech park, 3 states seed processing plant, water denied to Pakistan, Shahpur Kandi, Ujh Multipurpose, 2 big power projects like Pakal Dul & Keeru, world’s largest bridge in Reasi, National Institute in Bhaderwah, Atal Setu, Kidiya Gandyal bridge etc. He said that Chenani-Nashri tunnel is the 1st project that has been named after Dr. Mookherji.
Dr. Singh said that today all the youngsters are being given equal opportunity, notorious interview technique has been done away with and many more decisions have been made. He also said that development in the J&K will be greatly boosted on the pattern of North-East. He also said that the J&K will be reinstated in the way, that was handed over by Maharaja Hari Singh ji. End of nepotism and appeasements mark the hallmark of this govt.
In the start of the rally, rich Tributes were also paid to Dr, Shyama Prasad Mookherjee and martyrs of Galvan valley.
A book named “Mission Accomplished- A saga of Sacrifices: Praja Parishad” authored by Kulbhushan Mohtra, J&K BJP Library & Documentation was also released on the occasion.
