State President Sh. Ravinder Raina , General Secretary(Org) sh. Ashok Koul , Former president BJP Sh. Sat Sharma CA , BJYM President Sh. Arun Dev Singh Jamwal , Distt.president BJP Jammu Sh. Munish Khajuria and District President BJYM Jammu Sh. Reetiz Khajuria .
Today appealed and encouraged the public of Jammu to download and use the Aarogya Setu App.
In addition to this, they must also tell those people about the benefits of Aarogya Setu App. Tarun Sharma informed that Aarogya Setu App is available on both the platforms Android and iOS. The benefits of using Aarogya Setu App are mentioned as follows:
Aarogya Setu App works on Bluetooth-based technology and tries to determine risk based on the user’s location.
The risk factor is also based on the data available for that particular location.
Tarun Sharma further said that when the two Aarogya Setu users come close to each other, the app transfers data like GPS location, identity etc. to central servers if a person tests positive for the disease. For those who are not at risk, their data is deleted every 30 days and data for those who are being tested right now is deleted after 45 days. If a user tests positive, then their data is kept up to 60 days after they are cured. Based on the privacy policy, this covers data about self-assessments, exposure events and location coordinates.
