On duty soldier dies of heart attack in north Kashmir’s Uri

A soldier, who was on duty, died of heart attack on Monday in the border town of Uri in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

Official sources said that a soldier, identified as Kapil Dev, suffered a massive heart attack while he was on duty early on Monday morning at an Army camp in Uri. “Kapil was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,” they said.

The deceased soldier is a resident of Haryana. “After completing all the legal and medical formalities, arrangements would be make to sent the body of the deceased soldier to his native place for last rites.
