Coronavirus: JK Govt tells employees to attend offices on alternate weeks

 

The government has ordered its employees to attend their offices on alternate weeks as part of its measures to combat the novel coronavirus.

According to government order No.415-JK(GAD) of 2020 in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), declared as ‘pandemic’ by the World Health Organization and as a preventive measure to contain the spread of the virus in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, it is hereby ordered that the Government employees shall attend their offices on alternate weeks excepting those who are associated with Coronavirus control efforts and essential services.

“The concerned Heads of the Offices shall draft a weekly roster of duty for all employees who shall attend the offices on alternate weeks, till further orders,” reads the order issued by government.
