DDC Kishtwar reviews performance under CAPEX budget, B2V, languishing Schemes

: District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara today chaired a meeting of district and sectoral officers to  review the progress under District CAPEX budget 2019-20 , Back to Village programme and languishing projects/schemes.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Mohd. Hanief Malik; Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACD, Kishore Singh Katoch; DTO, Irfan Majid;,DFO Kishtwar and, DFO Marwah, Executive Engineers of PWD, PHE, REW, PDD,PMGSY, Chief Education Officer, EO Municipal Committee among others.

The DDC took a detailed review of physical and financial achievements of the works under capex budget of Education, PWD, PHE, PDD, RDD, Health, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest, Agriculture, Horticulture and other departments besides B2V phase-I and languishing project scheme works.

The DDC impressed upon the executing agencies to focus on expeditious execution of development works and ensure their timely completion.

He directed to freeze the present progress and submit the weekly report of further achievements so that actual weekly progress is ascertained.

He further reviewed the department wise and schemes wise status of allocation and release of funds and physical and financial progress thereof.

In this regard, the DDC impressed upon the officers to achieve 100 per cent targets under district CAPEX budget,B2V and languishing schemes by 31st of March.

Meanwhile, various other Schemes and issues were discussed in the meeting including convergence plan, MGNREGA, functioning and construction of School buildings, plantation drives under green JK, construction of foot suspension bridges, drains in the town etc.

For synergizing the efforts of various departments, the DDC directed the district heads to coordinate to resolve the inter departmental deadlocks promptly and also utilize his service in this context wherever they face any roadblocks and hurdles.
