With an aim to constructively engage the young generation of Doda District through education, employment and awareness, Army organized a motivational lecture for NCC cadets to join Armed Forces. The lecture was organized at Govt Higher Secondary School, Ghat, District Doda, attended by 40 Boys, 30 Girls and 08 Teachers.
The motivational lecture also elaborated on avenues available for NCC Cadets to join Indian Armed Forces. The lecture covered procedure for joining Sainik Schools and Rashtriya Military School. The interactive session received overwhelming response by cadets who seemed inquisitive and enthusiastic regarding admission in Sainik Schools.
The students and teachers requested that such lectures be conducted regularly to motivate students and provide guidance regarding the latest in academic world. The school staff, students and parents thanked Army for their genuine efforts in raising education standards. Such initiatives will strengthen the bond between security forces and the local populace which will certainly help in building peace in the region.
