BJP caused great harm to secular and social fabric of J&K: Bhalla

Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Raman Bhalla on Friday emphasised that the government should focus on the chaotic areas of the city. He was interacting with prominent persons of Choudahi area . He said there is no higher secondary school in the area and students have to cover seven to eight kilometre to get education besides roads are in shambles. Water supply in the area is highly erratic and people in the area have to wait for days together to get water supply. He said that BJP Govt failed to address burning demands of the area and the development projects which were initiated by Congress Govt were not taken care of resulting in immense sufferings of people of the area. The National Highway Authority of India had approved two flyovers at Greater Kailash near Sainik Colony and Kunjwani Chowk during the regime of previous government which could not be taken up even after lapsing of five years reasons best known to the present government,” said Bhalla. On this occasion Choudhary Mohd Aslam, Chairman JKPCC ST Department nominated Sabat Ali Choudhary ,Corporator Ward-74  as Vice Chairman of ST Department of JKPCC and handed over appointment letter to Sabat Ali in presence of former Minister Raman Bhalla, EX. MLA Ch. Aslam, Ch. Mohd. Yasheem, Editor-n-chief State Observer Newspaper, Raj Mohd., Noor Ahmed  Ch. Mohd. Aslam, Laqyat Ali, Arshad Ali, Fareed Hussain, Robin Singh  Rakesh Kumar, Sachin Verma. Sobat Ali expressed gratitude towards Party High Command especially JKPCC Chief GA Mir and Chairman ST Department JKPCC for reposing faith in him to serve ST Community in J&K.

Ch Mohd Akram  speaking on the occasion, said that Congress Party as an instrument of service, duty bound to seek resolution of the issues confronting people which has remained dedicated to the cause of people. He said Congress party believes in strengthening the people and is committed to equitable development of J&K.  He said Congress Party   is duty bound to address the aspirations of the people and it has always taken care of the urges and aspirations of the people. He urged upon the party workers reach out to the people with the programmes and policies of the Congress Party. He felt confident that people of the country and J&K have realized that it is the Congress Party alone which has served them (people) best is really  an all-weather friend of the people and it would continue to strive hard for the overall development of the J&K and its people.
