Member of Parliament from Ladakh called on Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways in Delhi and raised the demand for early completion of construction of Kargil-Zanskar (Sankoo-Padum) Road which was declared a NH301 and was entrusted to the J&K Government by MoRTH 2013, due to unimpressive progress and non-completion on said time since the past 7 years and he requested it to be entrusted to NHIDCL for timely completion.
MP Ladakh also requested the minister for the transfer of 297.60km Darcha-Padam-Nimu Road from BRO to NHIDCL for early completion which connects Union Territory of Ladakh with rest of the nation through Himachal Pradesh.
