NPP WC meets in Jammu inspite of difficult weather, road blocks

          Working Committee of JKNPP met in Jammu Party Headquarters inspite of difficult weather and Highway blockade. The Chairman and the President of JKNPP could not reach the Working Committee. The senior members who attended the meeting included Masood Andrabi, Mohd. Iqbal Choudhary, Vice Presidents, Basharat Ali, General Secretary, Rajinder Singh Manju, Shiv Charan Singh, Shanker Singh Chib, State Secretaries, Partap Singh Jamwal, Vice President Young Panthers, Neeraj Gupta, Zonal President, Rajesh Gondhi, Provincial Secretary, Anil Rakwal, Provincial General Secretary Young Panthers, S. Pawandeep Singh, District President Jammu Rural Young Panthers, Hakin Din, Pawan Sodhi and Bhanu Partap Singh.

            Prof. Bhim Singh while addressing the Working Committee members conveyed in very terms that the Panthers Party shall declare its programme on its 38th Anniversary on 23rd March, 2020 what needs to be done to restore the statehood of Jammu & Kashmir without any delay. The Working Committee also conveyed that the Panthers Party shall launch a movement in J&K for the restoration of the statehood, setting Delimitation Commission for the Assembly Constituencies for Jammu & Kashmir and shall launch a movement for the Assembly elections in 2020 after delimitation and restoration of the statehood.

            The Panthers Party also urged the President of India to issue direction to the Lt. Governor Jammu & Kashmir to fill all vacancies in II, III & IV which have been lying vacant for more than six months so that the working in the govt. and the schools and offices shall not suffer. The Panthers Party also urged the President to issue a special ordinance to provide compensation to the farmers and orchard owners in Jammu & Kashmir so that they shall be adequately compensated.

            The members of the Working Committee/NPP leaders were unanimous in the resolution and demanded restoration of the State as well as status of Permanent Resident as was assured by the Govt. of India that permanent resident status of residents of Jammu & Kashmir shall not be disturbed for at least 50 years.

            The Working Committee unanimously decided to hold last Working Committee meeting on 1st March, 2020 at Jammu Headquarters.
