Advisor Khan: Govt committed to revive lost glory of J&K as ‘Paradise on Earth’

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan has reiterated that Government is committed to revive lost glory of J&K across the globe as ‘Paradise on earth’.

He made these remarks at Rotary Club of Jammu Tawi event where the Advisor Khan was felicitated by eminent citizens of Jammu.

“Government is committed to revive pre 1988 Kashmir when it used to be known as a paradise where people from all over the world wanted to come,” Advisor Khan said in his address at the event.

Others who spoke on the occasion included former Police Chiefs, Kuldeep Khoda and Dr Ashok Bhan; President RC Jammu Tawi, Raman Sherpuri; former member JKPSC, K B Jandial; President, Chamber of Commerce, Rakesh Gupta; President Bar Association, Jammu, Abhinav Sharma and other eminent citizens.

The speakers described Advisor Khan as an upright and honest policeman during his service who remained committed and loyal to his duties.

They also appreciated services of Farooq Khan as an Advisor to Lieutenant Governor who is tirelessly working for all round development of J&K.

On the occasion, Advisor Khan, who was the chief guest, appreciated philanthropic role of the Rotary Club and assured full cooperation of the Administration to the Club for undertaking various social activities in J&K. The Advisor also congratulated Dr Dushyant Choudhary, who has been elected as the District Governor of Rotary District 3070 for the year 2022-23 and asked him to come up with the projects, through which club and government can work collectively to remove hunger, illiteracy, diseases and conflicts from J&K.

Later the Advisor distributed two wheel-chairs to specially-abled persons.
