Mrs Sireesha Srinivas senior PWWA member and wife of Dr B. Srinivas ADGP CID J&K presented a cheque of rupees Six lakh to the Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh in a simple function held at GO’s Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu here this afternoon.
ADGsP Shri B Srinivas, Shri A. K. Choudhary, Shri A. G. Mir, IGP Jammu Shri Mukesh Singh, IGP Shri Garib Dass, Chairperson Police Welfare Wives Association (PWWA) Dr. Rubinder Kaur, PWWA members Mrs Archana Choudhary, Mrs Shabnam Mir, Mrs Smita Priyadarshini were present on the occasion.
The Director General of Police Shri Dilbag Singh on behalf of Jammu Kashmir Police Parivar thanked Mrs Sireesha Srinivas and hailed her noble gesture towards the families of martyrs. He wished her good luck for the future assignments.
Pertinent to mention that Mrs Sireesha Srinivas at the closing ceremony of the art exhibition Reminiscences (Kashmir on Canvas), dedicated the sale proceeds of Rs Six lakh each to the children of Police Martyr families of J&K Police and Telangana Police. This art exhibition was held in Hyderabad, Telangana in December 2019.
