Former Deputy Chief Minister & Senior Leader BJP, Kavinder Gupta visitedmany sites for the ongoing development projects being executed in the Gandhi Nagar Constituency. The visited areas where work is under process were Channi, Sanjay Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Digiana, G, Bhore Camp and Greater Kailash and took the stock of work. He was accompanied by Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee JMC,Baldev Billawria, District President BJP Vinay Gupta, Cuncillor Anil Kumar, Darshan Abrol, Capt. Jigmeet Singh(Retd.), Rohit Verma among other prominent persons of the locality, local BJP Leaders and social workers. He tiling work of Lanes of Greater Kailash being executed by JMC.
While addressing the gathering present on the occasion Gupta said that as promised the long pending demand of the residents have been met.Gupta informed public that we have got approval and sanction of funds to the tune of 92 crores particularly for Gandhi Nagar Constituency, and all the approved works shall be executed well in time. He said that “real development has been witnessed during last five years in the state and Gandhi Nagar Constituency in particular”. “sabka saath -sabka vikas-sabka vishwas”is the slogan of BJP, and it is extending every possible help to make it a success. However, every one of us has to contribute as it becomes our collective responsibility to keep our surroundings neat and clean, Gupta said. He stressed upon the concerned authorities to expedite the progress on these vital works to ensure their timely completion. Gupta stressed for an effective mechanism for regular monitoring and follow up of all ongoing development works by Deputy Commissioner concerned. He also exhorted upon them to hold periodic review meetings with all the stake holders to meet the purpose behind launch of these projects envisaging improvement in living standards of people. Also, Gupta stressed for the Deputy Commissioner to identify any financial or technical barrier causing delay in development works in the newly included areas in JMC, for larger interest of the society. Gupta lauded the seriousness of the Lt. Governor for the execution of various projects. He said many projects are still pending for the administrative approvals which he shall be taking up with Hon’ble Lt. Governor for the necessary approvals. Locals also appreciated the efforts of the Kavinder Gupta and expressed their gratitude for taking up their pending demands time to time, on priority and also brought some other issues to his notice for early disposal.

He thanked Gupta for the quality works on Deep drain, Macamadization and improvement of Lanes & drains and so many other works. He lauded the role of Kavinder Gupta said that after so many decades the people have witnessed real development of the area.
