Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor Jammu inspected ward no. 1

 

Today on the first day of the Year 2020, Inspection of Ward No. 1 was conducted by Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor, Jammu.

During the inspection, Deputy Mayor inspected various gallis and mohallas of ward no. 1 including Tange Walle Galli, Chougan Salathia Mohalla, Kucha Nar Singh Mohalla, Agnihotri Galli, Wazir Mohalla. Sanitary Supervisor Rajnesh Sharma, Nigran Thomas, Kuldeep Mehta, Rohit Badhyal, Shubh Lata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Sunita Wazir, Suman Wazir and other prominent citizens of the ward also accompanied during the inspection.

The condition of various lanes and drains and street lights of the ward were inspected. Adv. Purnima Sharma also interacted with the locals of the ward regarding the complaints and suggestions for the improvement of ward. All the complaints and suggestions brought up by the locals we’re noted by the Hon’ble Deputy Mayor and She ensured the locals that under her supervision, soon ward no. 1 will become a modern ward.

Inspection of ongoing developmental work in the ward was also done during this inspection. Due to the carelessness and delay of work by the contractors many times nuisance was being caused due to which the local public had to suffer.

Adv. Purnima Sharma directed the supervisor to get the sanitation problems solved and directed XEN Electric, JMC to make sure that all the street lights are functional. Deputy Mayor also directed the XEN, Trikuta Division, JMC to make sure that all the developmental works of the ward are done in a time bound manner and all the constructional dump to be removed by the contractor after the work gets completed.

After the inspection, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Deputy Mayor, conducted a meeting with Dr. Suresh Gupta, Health Officer, JMC along with Sh. Parshotam Kumar, ASO, JMC. In the meeting, various issues regarding the sanitation, noted by Hon’ble Deputy Mayor during the Inspection were discussed. Adv. Purnima Sharma directed the Health Officer, JMC to start the door to door collection services in all the wards.

All the concerned officers ensured Hon’ble Deputy Mayor that all the work will be completed within a stipulated time.
