BJYM J&K led by its State President Vikas choudhary today organised a Rally (Padh Yatra) in favour of Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) in presence of BJP State Gen. Secretary Org. Ashok Koul , State Gen Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, All Morcha Prabhari Munish Sharma, District President Jammu Vinay Gupta and a large gathering of common masses from every part of the State. Amid the chants of ‘INDIA SUPPORTS CAA’ and ‘VANDE MATRAM’ and carrying Indian Flags rally started from Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk and went on concluded at City Chowk through Gumat chowk, Hari Market and Raghunath Bazar. The Rally comprised of people from all sections of the society.

Ashok Koul while speaking to media said that Instead of having civil debate based on facts, some opposition parties are bent on subverting any discourse or the truth, by spreading completely absurd lies and what is lost in their discourse is the plight of those who suffered untold sufferings since the partition of India and CAA aims to provide citizenship to those people without affecting citizenship rights of any existing citizen.

Yudhvir Sethi said that while this piece of legislation would help to uphold human rights of the people who have been persecuted for their religious beliefs in the countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, and have been living an inhuman and uncertain life in India for many years and urged people to confront parties like Congress who are peddling lies.

Vikas Choudhary On this occasion said that we held this rally to counter the fear-mongering of Congress and leftist organisations about the CAA and their bizarre statements that the CAA is designed to expel Muslims from India. He said the opponents of the CAA and the NRC were misinformed and did not want to talk on facts or listen to the facts. He further insisted that BJYM will leave no stone unturned to stop the misinformation campaign of the opposition.

All the State &District office bearers and Activists of BJYM J&K were also present on the occasion.
