BJP District Jammu holds meeting, decides to hold seminar on CAA

Bharatiya Janata Party District Jammu, conducted a meeting of BJP leaders of district Jammu. The meeting was held under the leadership of Vinay Gupta, District President BJP Jammu in presence of Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister J&K at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, former MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta, JMC Deputy Mayor Adv. Purnima Sharma, Chairman JMC Baldev Singh Bilawaria, Councillors of different wards, Mandal Presidents and other activists of BJP participated in the meeting, wherein it was emphasized to hold a seminar to educate, update and highlight about the positive aspects of Citizens Amendment Act (CAA).

In the meeting, it was decided that the seminar will be held on Sunday the 22nd December 2019 at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar at 3.00 p.m. and will be addressed by a galaxy of top state leadership.

Addressing the meeting, Kavinder Gupta said that an attempt is being made by Congress party to disturb communal harmony of the country.  He alleged that the grand old party has not grasped the success of Modi government and has started misinformation campaign against Citizenship Amendment Act. He said that there is nothing against any Indian from any religion in the CAA and appealed BJP workers to bring people from different communities along with them to attend the seminar so that they can also well understand the situation.

Yudhvir Sethi, State General Secretary BJP, speaking on the occasion, said that opposition parties in parliament who could not corner the government, have been unleashing violence and damaging state property on the issue of CAA.

The others who spoke on the occasion included Rajesh Gupta and Baldev Singh Bilawaria who stressed upon Party activists to rebut opposition propaganda on CAA.

Vinay Gupta thanked all for participating in the meeting and asked them to attend the seminar in large numbers.
