Government has extended the date for submission of mandatory life certificates for pensioners till 31st December 2019 which was earlier set as ending November 2019.
“In order to facilitate the pensioners to furnish the mandatory life certificates to the concerned authority of Bank/Treasury, the date for production of life certificates by the pensioners is hereby extended till 31st of December 2019. All the pensioners should, therefore, furnish their life certificates to the concerned Bank/Treasury by or before 31st of December 2019, failing which their pension shall not be disbursed further”, reads a notice issued by Director General of Accounts & Treasuries, J&K Govt.
