Shubh Memorial International School in collaboration with Department of Orthopedics ASCOMS hospital Sidhra, Jammu organised free orthopaedic camp today. The camp was headed by Dr. Rajesh Gupta (Prof & HOD, Ortho ASCOMS) along with his team.The camp was inaugurated by Former Minister and BJP leader Sh Sham Lal Sharma.
Sham Sharma, while congratulating team of doctors from ASCOMS for holding the camp, said that in the present scenario it was extremely tough for the patients from middle and lower income group families to get medical aid and medicines.
He said the NDA government had introduced free-of-cost medical aid to many people under the BPL category. He said many people of the state avail the benefit.
The camp included free orthopaedic consultation & free medicines In this orthopaedic check up camp more than 150 patients were assessed and counseled .Large number of people were part of the camp included Middle aged individuals who were having basic orthopaedics issues. Such types of camps should be organised on regular basis.On this occasion , The Principal Mrs Shilpa Mahajan encouraged the people to be health conscious to become better citizens and help the country and growing further.
