Three youth were on Wednesday arrested in Srinagar for protesting against the visit of 25-members foreign delegation to Kashmir, official sources said.
The protestors termed the visit insignificant, alleging that it was a waste of money even as the envoys were enjoying Shikara rides in the world famous Dal Lake. “The government should stop wasting money on these events. The money should be used to spend on development of Kashmir instead of such events,” they added.
The protestors were detained and lodged in a nearby police station.
