JAMMU, MAY 14: Mission Shakti District Hub for Empowerment of Women Jammu- Department of Social Welfare J&K, organised a felicitation programme to honour meritorious girl students of PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School- Khanna Chhargal
The felicitation was held under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao to celebrate the exemplary academic achievements of the students.
The initiative aimed to motivate young minds and encourage students to strive for greater accomplishments while embracing social responsibility. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creativity, confidence and awareness through colourful cultural performances and thought-provoking debates reflecting the spirit of empowerment and education.
Speaking on the occasion, District Mission Coordinator Mission Shakti Jammu Shagun Manchanda sensitised students and staff members about the vision and objectives of Mission Shakti. She highlighted the importance of women empowerment, safety, social awareness and equal opportunities, while urging students to become responsible citizens committed towards building a progressive and inclusive society.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal Anita Sharma and Vice Principal Renu Sharma.
Khushboo Kapte, Gender Specialist, Mission Shakti and staff members were also present on the occasion.
Faculty members and students appreciated the initiative of Mission Shakti for recognising academic talent and encouraging students towards educational excellence.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note with Mission Shakti Jammu felicitating meritorious girl students of Classes 10th, 11th and 12th with educational kits as a token of encouragement and motivation for their future aspirations.
