REASI, APRIL 17: Under the visionary leadership of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Reasi (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge) Khalil Choudhary and the able guidance of Secretary Pooja Gupta, a series of awareness programmes in different parts of Reasi District.
The Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of TLSC Mahore spread awareness about Social Welfare Schemes at Dewal and LAC Shikari .
The PLVs sensitized the local residents to the financial assistance, pension, scholarships and other beneficiary oriented schemes for marginalized sections of the society.
They also addressed queries of the villagers and encouraged them to approach legal services institutions for any assistance.
Another awareness programme was held on Pre-litigation matters at Panchayat Akhli – Katra. The Para Legal Volunteers informed the participants about the importance of pre-litigation mechanisms and the benefits of resolving disputes amicably before approaching courts. They highlighted the role of Lok Adalats, mediation and legal aid services in ensuring speedy, cost-effective and accessible justice to all.
