CRPF organises Bharat darshan tour for Udhampur students under civic action prog 2025–26

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 13: In a commendable initiative to strengthen community outreach and promote national integration, 137 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force Udhampur organised a Bharat Darshan Programme for students under its Civic Action Programme 2025–26.

A school tour for a group of 20 students and 2 teachers from Government Higher Secondary School, Garhi was flagged-off today at the premises of 137 Bn, CRPF, SRTC, Udhampur.

The event was attended by Commandant M.K. Sicon, Deputy Commandants R.L. Meena and Suresh and Dr. Manish Rundla, Medical Officer, along with school staff, students, CRPF personnel and members of the local community.

The six-day educational tour aims to provide students with meaningful exposure to the rich cultural, historical and national heritage of the country.

 During the visit, students explored places of historical, cultural and educational significance in Varanasi, enabling them to learn beyond the classroom and gain first-hand experience of India’s diverse traditions.

Local residents appreciated the efforts of 137 Bn, CRPF in organising this programme and urged the force to continue such initiatives in the future.
