SAMBA, APRIL 13: District Administration Samba has intensified awareness activities across the district under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, with multiple programmes being organised to sensitise the public on the harmful effects of drug abuse.
An AYUSH Awareness Camp on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” was organised at Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Koulpur, by Ayushmaan Arogya Mandir (AAM) Koulpur in the interest of public healthcare. The camp featured awareness lectures, yoga sessions, a rally and distribution of IEC material and medicines, promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
In another initiative, an awareness camp was organised at Panchayat Chak Nazir, Block Ramgarh, under the 100-Day Intensive Campaign of Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, where the community was sensitised about the adverse effects of substance abuse and the importance of prevention.
Further extending outreach efforts, a door-to-door awareness campaign was conducted at Main Market Vijaypur, spreading awareness among the general public regarding the harmful consequences of drug abuse and encouraging community participation in the fight against the menace.
