RAMBAN, MARCH 10: The implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the Subdivision Gool was today reviewed by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Imtiaz.
The Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Agriculture presented a comprehensive overview of the department’s performance in the sub-division. The presentation highlighted the implementation of HADP components, financial utilization of funds, progress achieved in Kisan Credit Card (KCC) registrations, credit flow under HADP including applications submitted and sanctions granted and the distribution of Soil Health Cards to farmers. The officer also briefed the meeting about awareness programmes conducted to encourage farmers to adopt modern agricultural practices and government-sponsored schemes.
The SDM reviewed the status of applications and achievements reported by different departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture and Fisheries.
The meeting was attended by SMS Agriculture Manmohan Singh, AEO Agriculture Sangaldan Ghulam Nabi Malik, Horticulture HOD Farooq Ahmed Rather, Seed Examiner Sericulture Mohammad Ashraf Wani along with officers from Sheep Husbandry and other concerned departments.
