
KUPWARA, MARCH 09: Schools across Sub-Division Handwara reopened today after three-month-long winter vacation, bringing renewed enthusiasm among students and teachers as academic activities resumed.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner, (ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi, accompanied by Zonal Education officer (ZEO) Handwara, conducted visits to various educational institutions to inspect the arrangements and welcome students back to their classrooms.
During his visit, the ADC interacted with students and teachers and expressed happiness over the cheerful atmosphere as students resumed their studies after the winter break. He reviewed the facilities available in the schools and directed the concerned heads to ensure cleanliness, and availability of basic amenities so that students can pursue their studies in a comfortable environment.
The ADC also encouraged students to focus on their education and make the best use of the academic session. He appreciated the efforts of the school administration and teachers for maintaining discipline and ensuring a smooth reopening of schools.
Students expressed excitement and joy at meeting their classmates and teachers after the long winter break, marking a fresh start to the academic activities in the Sub-Division.
