Doda students leave for Punjab to participate in the National Youth Exchange Programme Deputy Commissioner flags off tour

DODA, FEBRUARY 24: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Krishan Lal today flagged off a group of students to Punjab to participate in the National Youth Exchange Programme being held at Lovely Professional University (LPU)- Phagwara from February 24 to March 1, 2026.

The students’ tour has been sponsored by the District Administration and the Red Cross Society in collaboration with the School Education Department with the objective of promoting cultural exchange, national integration and developing leadership skills among the youth.

While interacting with the students, the Deputy Commissioner encouraged them to actively participate in all academic, cultural and interactive sessions during the programme.

He emphasized that such exposure visits provide valuable learning opportunities, broaden perspectives and help students develop confidence, communication skills and a spirit of unity and cooperation.

Krishan Lal advised the students to act as ambassadors of the district and make the best use of the platform to learn, share experiences and build meaningful connections with participants from different regions of the country.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Ashraf Parvez; Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Manesh Kumar; Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bhushan Kumar; District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Zubair Ahmed and others.

The students expressed enthusiasm and gratitude to the District Administration for providing them with an opportunity to participate in the national-level exchange programme aimed at enhancing their overall development and exposure.
