
The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled a major plot by apprehending an intruder with weapons near the international border in the Pargal area of Jammu. The arrested individual has been identified as Abdul Khaliq. A Chinese pistol was recovered from him. Following his arrest, he was interrogated extensively by central investigating agencies and the BSF. Following the completion of the interrogation, he was handed over to the Pargal police post (Khour) for further legal action. According to sources, Abdul Khaliq was attempting to infiltrate a large number of terrorists and may be connected to a network active in the border area. For the past two weeks, the BSF, police, and other security agencies have been conducting continuous search operations along the border and surrounding areas. This vigilance led to the foiling of this infiltration attempt. Police are now investigating the case further and examining various aspects related to the accused’s network, contacts, and motives.
