Udhampur: Pawan Kumar Khajuria, the state vice president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir, has been denied a ticket by the party. He is expected to file his nomination as an independent candidate on Wednesday. Khajuria expressed his dissatisfaction with the party’s decision and said he would contest the election with the support of his workers. He alleged that the party has fielded a candidate who worked against the BJP in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Khajuria claimed that a large number of party workers are upset with the decision and have decided to support him in the election. He said, “I was a ordinary worker, but the BJP has fielded a candidate who worked against the party in the Lok Sabha elections. The workers are angry and have decided to support me in the election.””
