Jammu 19 Aug 2024: “Former Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhary Zulfikar Ali, joined the BJP today. He joined the party in the presence of senior leaders at the BJP office in Jammu. As soon as he joined the party, he said that the BJP’s policies attracted him. We are going to form the government comfortably. I believe that the BJP is the only option for the people that can provide them justice.
Former PDP leader Chaudhary Zulfikar Ali said that the BJP’s policies and schemes have reached the last person in the queue. These things forced me to join the BJP. Every person got a ‘health card’, which people in my area call the ‘Modi card’.
He further said that peace has been restored in Jammu and Kashmir, stone-pelting has stopped, and the common man feels more secure. The tourism industry has also grown. We will form our government. What have they done for Jammu and Kashmir? They have only given slogans even after ruling for 70 years.
On this occasion, BJP President of Jammu and Kashmir, Ravinder Raina, said that the BJP will contest the elections with full force. The people of Jammu and Kashmir will give BJP a massive mandate, and we will form the government. BJP will contest the elections on its own in Jammu and may form an alliance with some independent candidates in Kashmir. We will not form an alliance with any political party in Jammu.
Reacting to the alleged comments of National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, BJP in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chug, said that they are trying to create confusion among the public. The public has already rejected them. Article 370 will never come back. With the joining of former Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhary Zulfikar Ali, in the BJP, he said that the BJP is moving forward. People are standing in support of PM Modi. Jammu and Kashmir has emerged as India’s tourism capital.”
