LS Polls: 35.75% voting in Srinagar, record of last two Lok Sabha elections broken

Srinagar: Voting is being held in the fourth phase on Srinagar Lok Sabha seat. 17.47 lakh voters of 18 assembly constituencies of Srinagar, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal and Shopian districts will cast their votes. A total of 24 candidates are in the fray

35.75 percent voting in Srinagar till 5 pm, highest in Kangan, lowest in Habb Kadal

35.75 percent voting has taken place in Srinagar Lok Sabha seat till 5 pm. Kangan assembly constituency has recorded the highest voting of 55.55 percent and Habba Kadal assembly constituency has recorded the lowest voting of 13.25 percent. This time the voting is more than the last two Lok Sabha elections. In 2014, 25.86 percent and in 2019 only 14.43 percent voting took place. In such a situation, the record of both the times has been broken.
