COLOSSAL DEVELOPMENT
There are many ways by which the development carried out by the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi could be assessed and the same be compared with the development brought in by the successive governments in the country. Parameters can be many but going by the recent report on number of airports being operationalized under the Modi government is a good way to gauge the colossal development that became a reality during the last over eight years as the number in itself is self-explanatory and tells about the magnitude of development in the country, which is not only extraordinary but also unbelievable. The number of operational airports in the country has almost doubled from 74 to over 140 since he took over in 2014, with the PM inaugurating another one today in Goa making it amply clear that India has witnessed a sea change in the last nearly eight-nine years. With such a drastic change in the aviation sector and other fields also one can say that the Modi Government has brought in an unprecedented era of development with corruption plummeting to its lowest level and good governance becoming a new order in the country. The 140 airports is not the end as the Government has envisaged to make over 200 airports operational in the coming five years, which is a real big number and shows the sincerity and dedication of the Modi Government in transforming the country from a developing nation into developed nation and one among the top economies of the world. Of course, airports and other transport terminals are one of the parameters to gauge the development level therefore one can say with affirmation that country has seen gigantic levels of development under the Modi regime and the process is ongoing with new and innovative measures being taken to steer the country to new heights of progress. It becomes necessary that the country should extend wholehearted support to PM Modi for doing so much for the country in such a short period of time as earlier under successive governments things used to take years together to reach the completion stage. Without an iota of doubt one can say that the country is witnessing colossal development with a pace as never seen before.
