Last week, four terrorists were killed in two separate encounters in a joint operation launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district during the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah, police said. Three terrorists were killed in an encounter last Tuesday night in Drach area of ​​Shopian district. After this, another local terrorist was killed in Mulu area of ​​Shopian.

According to the army, the area has been cordoned off and firing is on from both the sides. Let us inform that shortly after the start of the encounter, 1 terrorist was killed. At the same time, 1 of our soldier has been injured. One AK-47 rifle and other weapons have been recovered from the terrorist.

Earlier on the previous day, three local terrorists belonging to the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were killed in the first encounter in Drach area of ​​Shopian. In contrast, a terrorist of the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed in the second encounter between security forces and terrorists in Mulu area of ​​Shopian early today.
