Srinagar: Ten arrested for anti-national slogans and stone pelting in Maysuma, search for others continues – Police


The Srinagar Police on Thursday arrested ten accused who carried out the anti-national sloganeering and stone pelting incident. On Wednesday, before the sentencing of separatist leader Yasin Malik, there were protests and stone-pelting outside his house in Maysuma, Srinagar. In this case, the police have taken this action. Police said that the search is on for the other accused.
Srinagar Police said that ten people involved in stone pelting and anti-national sloganeering have been identified, who have been arrested. Other accused are being identified. They will be arrested soon. A case under the Public Safety Act (PSA) will be registered against the main accused who carried out this incident
