Terror funding case: Charges against Yasin Malik to be framed on April 18- NIA Court

A special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday said it will frame formal charges against Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik and others in the terror funding case on April 18. On March 19, the last date of hearing, the court ordered framing of criminal conspiracy, waging war against the country and other illegal charges against Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed, Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin and others. On the other hand, Yasin Malik, Bitta Karate, Shabbir Shah, Masarat Alam, former MLA Rashid Engineer, businessman Zahoor Ahmed Shah Watali, Aftab Ahmed Shah, Avtar Ahmed Shah, Naeem Khan, Bashir Ahmed Bhat and many other Kashmiri separatist leaders are for criminal conspiracy. and charges related to other unlawful activities have been framed. Apart from this, the court has also acquitted Kamran Yusuf, Javed Ahmed Bhatt and Syed Asiya Firdous Andrabi.
