PM Modi to visit Jammu and Kashmir on April 24 to celebrate Panchayati Raj Day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir on 24 April. He has been on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir to meet Panchayat representatives on Panchayati Raj Day. Officially, this has not been fully confirmed yet, but in view of the possibility of his visit, preparations have been started from now. However, before Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah is reaching Jammu on 18 March. He is coming here to attend the 83rd Raising Day of CRPF. He reached Jammu on 18 March and would attend the program the next day on 19 March. In view of the Home Minister’s visit, the administration has given instructions to strengthen the security system.
At present the process of delimitation is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. Since there is no leadership of any political party in the state, the pace of development has also accelerated in Jammu and Kashmir through these public representatives Panch-Sarpanch and local bodies. At such a time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen the day of Panchayat Day to visit Jammu and Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention here that after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come and talk to the public representatives in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time. Although earlier also he has visited Jammu and Kashmir but only among the soldiers on the border.
If official sources are to be believed, a special program is being organized in Jammu on Panchayati Raj Day, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to attend. Through this program, Modi will also interact directly with the ministers and officials related to Panchayati Raj of other states of the country.
