Farooq, Omar express grief over demise of former MLC Abdul Aziz Wani
JAMMU JUNE 22- National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah today expressed deep grief over the passing away of former MLC and the senior party leader Mr Abdul Aziz Wani Who breathed his last at Marwah yesterday.
In a condolence message, Dr Farooq Abdullah said in his demise, the National Conference has lost an experienced grass roots level leader, who had worked tirelessly for serving the people and strengthening the party at the grass roots level. Mr Wani was a dedicated, sincere and hardworking leader whose role in strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood between various segments of society will always be remembered, he added.
Dr Abdullah conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
In his message, Mr Omar Abdullah paid tributes to Abdul Aziz Wani saying he worked tirelessly in serving the people of his area.
Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr Omar Abdullah expressed solidarity with the bereaved members of the family at this hour of grief and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
General Secretary Mr Ali Mohmmed Sagar also expressed shock and grief over the death of Abdul Aziz Wani and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana said Mr Wani will be remembered for his qualities of head and heart and his contribution in serving the people.
Mr Rana conveyed his condolences to the bereaved members of the family. He prayed for the departed soul to find eternal peace and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
