A soldier of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) died due to cardiac arrest in the frontier district of Kupwara on Tuesday, official sources said.
They said Sukhmangal Singh suffered a massive cardiac arrest early this morning in the camp at Kupwara while on duty. However, he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
