Jan Bhagidaari Week: NMBA awareness camp held at Panchayat Chapper Dudu

As part of the ongoing Jan Bhagidaari ‘Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle week long campaign, an awareness camp on the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) was organised today at Panchayat Chapper in Dudu subdivision of Udhampur district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh and SDM Dr. Manmeet Kumar sensitized the public about the importance of community participation and the objectives of the NMBA campaign.

The event witnessed active participation from locals and served as an effective platform for awareness generation against drug abuse in the remote and tribal area.

Additionally, the camp facilitated direct interaction between the tribal population and the government departments, enabling people to avail information and services at their doorstep.

Several government departments set up stalls to disseminate information regarding welfare schemes and citizen-centric services. On-the-spot registrations under financial inclusion and other government schemes were also conducted.

Awareness sessions under the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan were organised to educate youth and locals about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free life.
