BMC to demolish Kangana Ranaut’s Bandra office; actress says ‘it’s my Ram Mandir’

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has confirmed it will demolish actor Kangana Ranaut’s office in Bandra claiming that many alterations were carried out on the premises without due permissions. However, Kangana denied the allegations and accused the BMC of trying to “intimidate” her.

On Monday, the BMC had carried out an inspection at her bungalow in Pali Hill in suburban Bandra. A BMC team visited the bungalow on Tuesday morning around 10 and pasted the notice as nobody there was ready to receive it. The notice, issued under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, highlighted that the ongoing renovation and finishing work was “beyond approved plan”.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and advocate Vivekanand Gupta BMC cannot  demolish any property in view of Covid situation. The Hon.Bombay High court has ordered on their own motion, all orders of dispossession / demolition of any court /Tribunal /Authority are in abeyance till September 30.
