NIA produces Charge-sheet against five JeM Militant in Ban Toll Terror Attack

  In a much publicized Ban Toll Plaza Terrorist Attack on 31st January, 2020 in which 3 Pak militants of JeM outfit gunned down, National Investigating Agency today produced challan against Sameer Ahmed Dar, Asif Ahmed Malik, Sartaj Ahmed Mantoo, Suhaib     Manzoor  @ Suhaib Manzoor Wani and Zahoor Ahmed Khan.

          According to the challan a case under FIR No. 0045/2020 under sections 307/120-B/121/122/123 of Indian Penal Code, sections 7/25/26/27 Arms Act, sections 16/18 Unlawful Activities Prevention Act was registered at PS Nagrota on 31.01.2020 in District Jammu on the basis of telephonic information by ASI Rajinder Singh of J&K police who was deployed on police naka duty at Ban Toll Plaza under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nagrota. The copy of same is reproduced as under, “It is submitted that at this time ASI Rajinder Singh No. EXJ/875772 who along with Sgct Kartar Singh No. 2863/J, CT Boom Raj No. 1250/J and Nafri of CISF 114 was deputed for Naka checking duty at Ban Toll Plaza informed this P/S through telephonically that he along with other Nafri was busy in checking the vehicles. At about 0530 hrs. When a truck bearing registration no JK03F/1478, which was on way from Jammu towards Srinagar was stopped for checking unknown terrorist boarding in the tmck start firing on checking party. Ct Boom Raj No. 1250/J got injured. Encounter going on. As per the information, it reveals that unknown teirorists armed with automatic fire weapons in order to create disturbance, for killing of innocent people and. have challenged sovereignty of India by using automatic weapons on Police/security forces”

          In compliance to Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt, of India, order No. 11011/20/2020/NIA dated 07.02.2020, National Investigation Agency, Branch Office Jammu re-registered the case as RC-02/2020/NIA/JMU dated 10.02.2020 arising out of the case under FIR No 0045/2020 dated 31.01.2020 of Police Station, Nagrota, Jammu under sections 307, 120B, 121, 122 & 123 of Indian Penal Code and sections 7, 25, 26 & 27 of Arms Act and sections 16 & 18 of Urilawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 as amended. Today after completion of investigation challan was presented.
