Raina earlier also recalled that how Dr. Mookherjee was arrested by Sheikh Abdullah on May 11, 1953, when he entered Jammu and Kashmir without permit, he was sent to a Srinagar jail where he died “under mysterious circumstances” on June 23, 1953 and still the air has not cleared about the incident.
