Randhawa welcomes lockdown 3 with relaxation

 

Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, has hailed the decision of the Central government to announced another spell of lockdown with relaxation to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Randhawa said this while distributing ration and masks among the needy families of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment. He said that the situation in India and particularly in Jammu region is well under control and all it has happened with the strict implementation of the lockdown. He said that coronavirus spreads from human to human beside it survives on various surfaces and in air also which has claimed more than 2.30 lakh lives globally. He said that the developed nation including America, France, Italy, Spain, England having adequate healthcare infrastructure are finding it hard to control the spread of this strain and the daily the death count is beyond imagination.

While hailing the decision of the Central government in announcing the lockdown well in time Randhawa said that it was the only option available and also appreciated the cooperation of the citizens who adhered to the instructions in a disciplined manner.

Randhawa further urged upon the people to remain inside their houses and not to take relaxation period as for granted. He said that the danger is yet not over and requested public at large to maintain social distancing while going out for purchases of essentials.

Randhawa himself ensured proper social distancing while distributing ration and masks among the needy people. He further hailed the role of frontline warriors who risked their lives to save their fellow citizens.
