DC Bandipora Visits Army Goodwill School, Lauds Students’ Presentation of National Anthem, National Song at NMBA Padyatra

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Saturday visited Army Goodwill School Bandipora, where she interacted with students and teachers and appreciated their participation in the recently held district-level Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) Padyatra, led by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K UT, Shri Manoj Sinha.

 

The Deputy Commissioner lauded the students for their enthusiastic participation and their impressive presentation of the National Anthem and National Song during the Padyatra. She said the students added a special spirit to the event through their confident performance, which drew wide appreciation.

 

As a gesture of recognition, the Deputy Commissioner presented an Appreciation Certificate to the school for its contribution to the successful conduct of the programme, and congratulated the students, teachers, and school administration for their collective efforts and commitment.

 

Interacting with the students, Indu Kanwal Chib encouraged them to actively take part in such activities, emphasising that these experiences play a vital role in personality development and confidence building.

 

Sharing memories from her own school days, she recalled how participation in cultural and extracurricular activities helped shape her personality and taught her valuable life lessons.

 

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the confidence of the students and urged them to continue striving for excellence in all spheres of life. She also acknowledged the role of teachers and school management in nurturing talent, instilling values, and providing a supportive environment for the holistic development of students.

 

The Principal of the school, Shabnum Kousar, on behalf of the school administration, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for visiting the institution and motivating the students through her encouraging words and recognition.
