As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the team of ARTO Bandipora on Wednesday organized an awareness drive at Auto Stand Gulshan Chowk, Bandipora, to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
During the programme, drivers, commuters and the general public were sensitized about the importance of maintaining a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The ARTO team highlighted the social and health-related consequences of substance abuse and urged the participants to contribute towards building a drug-free society.
A pledge ceremony was also conducted on the occasion, wherein participants pledged to stay away from drugs and support the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
As part of the awareness campaign, NMBA stickers carrying anti-drug messages were pasted on passenger autos to further disseminate awareness among the general public.
